MCR 60th Anniversary Celebrations

Lincoln has the oldest MCR in Oxford and we look forward to celebrating its 60th anniversary on Saturday 23 March 2019

We have planned a day of activities around the anniversary, including a past President's lunch, a series of talks given by MCR alumni, and a three-course dinner in Hall. Further details can be found below.

Please note that space is limited for both the dinner and the alumni rooms so it is best to book quickly if you would like to attend.

10:30am - 12pm   MCR Open House

Join the current MCR Committee for coffee and cakes in the new MCR

12:30 - 2pm   Past President’s Lunch

All past presidents should receive a separate invitation. Please notify us if you have not received yours.

2:30 – 3:30 pm   Talks given by MCR Alumni

‘Is multilateralism broken – and can we fix it before we lose it?’ by Dr Jamie Shea (Former Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, NATO)

7:30 pm   Dinner in Hall

Dress code for the day is business casual and dress code for the dinner is black tie.
