Lincoln College

Graduate Accommodation

Board and Lodgings information, 2019-20

Lincoln can usually offer single-person accommodation to the majority of its first-year graduate students and is able to house a significant proportion of continuing students. Allocation of rooms from second year onwards is decided by a ballot, run by the MCR.The College does not at present have accommodation suitable for couples or families. Accommodation of this type can be arranged through the University's Graduate Accommodation Office:

Lincoln has three complexes of dedicated graduate accommodation in the city centre: the Bear Lane complex*, three minutes' walk from the central College site; the EPA Science Centre, close to the University Science Area; and a new building at the corner of Little Clarendon Street and Walton Street, close to the Radcliffe Quarter. Rooms are graded from A-D based on a number of factors. Grade A rooms are the highest quality, and include an ensuite shower room. Rooms B-D are graded according to size, natural daylight and facilities (please note B-grade rooms at Little Clarendon Street are ensuite). The grades have been agreed between the College and the MCR student body collectively.

All rooms have access to kitchens, and all rooms at the EPA and at Walton Street have ensuite bathrooms.

Most rooms are let for the academic year (37 weeks) with the option to extend into the Summer vacation.

We have accommodation suitable for disabled students both at the EPA and at Little Clarendon Street. Most of the main College site (including Hall and the bar) is accessible by wheelchair. A new MCR has recently been completed on main site, and is wheelchair-accessible.

We also have accommodation available for graduates at the Carfax Quarter on a 51 week contract.

*Bear Lane rooms are limited until approx. 2021 due to renovations to our Undergrad accommodation.
