The MCR, or Middle Common Room , refers both to the community of graduate students in College and to the room in which they meet. The Lincoln MCR is the the oldest and, we would argue, the liveliest of the Oxford MCRs. Despite being the oldest MCR in Oxford, we also have a brand new room in which to meet, as part of the newly refurbished Berrow foundation building (see picture right).
With around 300 graduate students in residence each year, the MCR organises a full and varied programmes of meetings, social events and sporting activites during termtime and vacations. Partners of MCR members may also apply to become associate members.
